We are proud to introduce the Laminator FX to market for your LFX powered car (Please check the fitment tab above to verify whether this product will work for you or not). This is an idea that I've been kicking around for a few years, and we've finally moved forward with it. Made locally right here in Oregon, in the good ol' USA! Why the name "Laminator FX" you ask? Well that's because it's a laminar flow modification, that potentially replaced the need for a ported intake manifold. And I threw FX on at the end so we could call it LFX for short... It's an LFX FOR your LFX!
What does it do? Well long story short, after installing this product its almost comparable as having a ported intake manifold, except at a fraction of the cost! Refer to the handy chart above for flow bench testing results, we noticed a 17% increase in air flow when installing this product (and removing the "air waffle", please watch the video for full install and commentary)! For comparison sake, typically we see 19-21% increased airflow from one of our ported intakes, but the cost is several times more than the cost of the Laminator FX here.
Installs in just minutes with a single screw through the front of the intake manifold (again, see video). Or for a more stealthy install, the screw can be installed through the back side of the manifold if you choose to remove it, or have already removed it to install an Extendolator intake manifold spacer.
Why a screw for install? Well, because 99% of the intake manifolds this will be installed in will be covered in oil residue and moisture from reversion, etc, there's a good chance no matter how good you try to clean your intake manifold that whatever silicone or other adhesive you may try to use will fail. You're certainly welcome to try silicone or an adhesive, but that's up to you. With just a single screw there is a mechanical bond that 100% will not fail.
This item has not been dyno tested, but with the air flow gains seen as compared to one of our ported intake manifolds (that has been dyno tested) we are confident you will not be able to tell the difference between this product and one of our ported manifolds.

*Please note* This product is not compatible with a typical ported LFX intake manifold, such as one provided by JacFab, or elsewhere. If the void behind your throttle body has already been filled by JacFab, or anyone else, this product will not work.
